In the industrial manufacturing market, epoxy-based grouting materials are used to support equipment such as pumps, turbines, and presses. Epoxy grouts are also used to structurally anchor building elements like crane rails and columns. In dynamic manufacturing environments, equipment is frequently moved or replaced, and abusive environments take their toll on even the most durable grout. Grouting is an ongoing process; it’s likely that in a large factory, grouting projects can occur on a weekly basis.
In addition, all E3 epoxy grouts utilize our patented DL Technology™ Aggregate, which was developed by Euclid Chemical researchers to significantly reduce dust released into the environment during grout handling and mixing. The development of this unique aggregate was a proactive approach to OSHA’s Respirable Crystalline Silica Standard, which went into effect in 2017. Euclid Chemical’s new line of epoxy grouts: E3-Flowable, E3-Deep Pour, E3-Xtreme, and E3-HCR, were formulated with contractor-friendly qualities such as easy installation, excellent flow characteristics, and water cleanup of tools and equipment. E3 grouts also provide outstanding engineering properties required for industrial settings: chemical resistance, extremely high strength that develops quickly, and resistance to sustained vibration and impact.
OSHA’s standard significantly lowered the permissible exposure limit to airborne respirable crystalline silica. Along with improved dust control, DL Technology™ aggregate may eliminate the need for workers to construct dust-free “clean rooms” around grouting areas.
Euclid Chemical’s epoxy grout lineup includes:
A very high flow epoxy grout designed for long pours and narrow configurations
Formulated for very deep placements up to 18 inches in depth
Highest compressive strength and outstanding bearing area for performance in the most extreme industrial environments
Epoxy grout with resistance to acids, alkali, corrosives, and solvents for grouting in chemical processing plants and secondary chemical containment systems
